Our Way of Collecting Tithes & Offering:
We believe that gifts can take many forms. We consider your presence here with us today a blessing and a gift. Your gift may be a prayer, a
song, your time, your talent, a strong hand, or a kind word when one is needed. All forms of gifts are gratefully received. For those who are able to present monetary offerings, the collection plates are located at each entrance into the sanctuary. You may place the offering in to the plate before services begins. The plates will be collected and brought forward during the singing of our Offertory Response.
Thank you for your gifts.
THE CHURCH OF ST. ANDREW & ST. DAVID: The Community
Supper will be held on Tuesday April 24 from 4:30-5:45. Items needed
are Desserts, and take-out containers. Volunteers are always appreciated
as well as monetary donations . Thank you.
THE CHURCH OF ST. ANDREW & ST. DAVID: At the recent
Official Board meeting, a decision was made to establish two new
committees, to prepare for our pending move, and to help determine
where that move might be to.
One committee is tasked with taking an inventory of our building
contents, and non permanent items outside the building. In addition, the
creation of a photo and/or video record of the church building and
property. It is hoped that the inventory could be completed ASAP, at least
by the end of June. So the commitment to serving on this committee
would be shorter in nature. (a few weeks).
The second committee will develop a wish list of what we might need or
want in new premises, identify potential partners, and some options.
Tanya MacKenzie will head this committee, and it was emphasized at the
meeting that input from all is encouraged, and welcome, as this process is
to be an open, inclusive and transparent one.
If you wish to serve on either of these committees, (and some have
already stepped up) please see Neil, Peter, Tanya, Terre or Gary Hughes.
A list of potential candidates has been drawn up, please consider serving
when you are approached.
On Sunday, May 6,
Michael Molloy will present a program of organ music at the Church of
St. Andrew and St. David on Germain St. in Saint John. The concert begins
at 2:00 PM. There is no fixed admission price, but donations will be
accepted to assist and support of the work of the Church. Tax receipts
will be available for donations of $20 and over. The program will consist
of organ concert favourites from late 19th century France.
